Seeing really is believing! Watching me create might just give you the confidence to try it out for yourself and find out that you indeed can do it! And, best of all, you’ll see that we all make mistakes and how to correct them.
Reason #2: We’ll learn some new techniques together
Each week, I’ll share a new technique. We’ll explore using different surfaces, try out fun new designs and introduce some chalking and inking techniques that will be sure to delight you! Regardless of the time of year, we’ll discover how we can use our Chalk Couture products to beautify your world and with any luck, impress your friends!
Reason #3: We can collaborate on our projects
One of the reasons I love creating projects on Facebook Live is because it is so interactive! It’s a true collaboration. I love getting your feedback and suggestions as well as answering your questions. It’s as if we were gathered around my kitchen table, but without the worry of making sure my house is clean or the concern that you’ll have to drive a long distance to come!
Reason #4: You can watch the replay if you can’t join live!
Let’s face it - we are all so busy! Some days there are just more things we want to do than we could possibly squeeze into a single 24 hour period. I get it! That’s why I have decided to use a Facebook Live as my preferred platform. To make it easy to remember, and to hold myself accountable to keeping my business moving forward, I have committed to offering at least one new live session a week - scheduled for Wednesday evenings at 7 pm ET. But, if you can’t make it live, you can watch the replay at your convenience and still give your ideas, provide your input and ask your questions - and I hope you do! Your comments and shares help to spread my lives to even more people!
Reason #5: It’s fun way to meet new friends who share your interests!
Whether you’re young or old (or somewhere in between), there’s nothing quite like enjoying time with friends. And, it’s super fun meeting new people who enjoy the same things you do! So, be sure to connect with my other watchers and share your thoughts and ideas too! You’ll be glad you did!
So - what do you think? Do you want to connect with me live each week? Just follow me at www.facebook.com/Timipaccio and get notified about my weekly projects! I look forward to seeing you soon!
Have you ever wondered if you could create your own chalkboard sign? I’m guessing if you’re anything like me, you’re thinking it looks like lots of fun but you’re worried that it requires a level of artistic ability that seems just a bit beyond you.
After years of scanning Pinterest for some tips on a simple way of creating stencils to make my own signs, I had just about given up hope for being able to do it on my own. I was just going to have to suck it up and pay for all those beautiful signs that I wanted for my home. But, then I discovered Chalk Couture. What is Chalk Couture you ask? Well, let me explain....
Earlier this year, I planned to meet up with friend and fellow Army mom for lunch. She was spending the weekend at a scrapbooking weekend midway between our two homes, so we took the opportunity to connect and chat a bit about our sons who are currently serving as officers in the US Army.
Although I was expecting to pick her up from her scrapbooking event and whisk her off to a private spot for some good momma talk and a glass of wine or two, we instead hung out at the scrapbooking day and poked around and marveled at the creativity that was occurring around us. She shared some her scrapbooking, we reminisced about our sons time together at GWU and we took in all the crafting and scrapbooking supplies that were being offered for sale. And, that’s when I saw it ~ a super easy way to create chalkboard signs.
A designer from Chalk Couture was set up and was offering a fun “Create and Take” activity to show how easy it was to create signs using chalk and transfers. My friend Susan and I jumped on the opportunity to try it out and we were hooked!
In just minutes, we were able to create a professional looking chalkboard sign that we were able to take home. Well, let me tell you, we were both enthralled by both Chalk Couture and the chalking experience and left that day with a few transfers, and chalkpastes, anxious to try it at home.
And, try it out I did! And, I fell in love with everything Chalk Couture. Within a few weeks, I decided to sign up to be a designer, too, and have been creating and sharing with others.
For me, it’s been a wonderful new hobby that has had the potential to become so much more. I’m looking forward to seeing where it will take me. If you are interested in learning more about Chalk Couture or becoming a designer, visit my website or contact me if you have questions. I’d be happy to share more about my journey.
